Privacy policy
Casa Russell Workspace MCP · Last updated 9 October 2026
What this is
Casa Russell Workspace MCP is a private connector that lets members of the Russell family use their own AI assistant (Claude, made by Anthropic) to work with files in their own Google Drive. It is run by the family for its own use and is not offered to the public.
What it accesses
When you sign in with Google, the app asks for:
- your basic profile: your name, email address and Google account ID, to know whose Drive it is working with; and
- access to your Google Drive, to see, create, edit and delete files.
It reaches only the Drive of the Google account that signed in.
How the data is used
Drive data is used only to carry out what you ask your assistant to do, such as finding, reading or editing a file. It is not used for advertising, profiling or anything else, and it is never sold.
Content your assistant reads through the app becomes part of your conversation with Claude, so Anthropic handles it under Anthropic's privacy policy.
What is stored, and where
- The sign-in tokens that let the app act for your account are stored on a server the family owns, so you don't have to sign in again every time.
- File contents pass through that server only while a request is being handled. When a download link is created, the temporary copy expires after about an hour.
- Nothing is shared with anyone beyond the steps above.
Google API data
Casa Russell Workspace MCP's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
You can remove the app's access at any time from your Google Account, under Third-party apps & services. Removing the connector in Claude also stops it from being used. Once access is revoked, the stored sign-in tokens no longer work.
